About the Job
We are looking for our future Embedded Software Development Engineer M/F for our next generation video processing software for medical and surgical environments. The position is based in Gaillac in the heart of one of the oldest vineyard regions in France, 30 minutes from Toulouse, and is available now.
You will join a passionate team of international staff (French and English spoken) and will be responsible for the following activities:
- Analysis of the customer requirements
- Creating the software architecture and specifications
- Integrating within our high-performance embedded systems
- Implementing video machine learning on our jetson platform
- Creating tools for system demonstration
- Automating the tests for production
- Documenting software architectures and writing technical notes
The candidate will have a good knowledge of the following tools:
- C or/and Go languages with Windows and Linux systems (PC/ARM)
- Git for configuration management
Ideally:
- Graduated with an Engineering or degree, you have a strong interest in embedded software development, real-time systems, signal processing.
- You like technical challenges, you like solving really difficult problems.
- As well as being available for the team and customers, you have good interpersonal skills and love to find consensus.

FPGA and Embedded Systems Engineer
Job description:
Attached to the electronics department, you will be responsible for the development of embedded systems and medical equipment based on some of the latest FPGA’s available.
Your tasks will be as follows:
- Specify architectures in collaboration with the team in place and the business manager.
- Develop/Integrate FPGA designs and associated software.
- Validate products in collaboration with the production department.
- Ensure correct operation for customers.
- As well as being available for the team and customers, you have good interpersonal skills and love to find consensus.
Your Profile:
- Degree qualified Engineer (Junior to Senior)
- You are passionate about digital electronics
- You are curious and inventive
- You are familiar with FPGA design
- You are comfortable with VHDL, Verilog, C languages
- You have a good foundation in embedded software and real-time systems
- The field of medical and video processing interests you
- You appreciate simple and effective solutions
- You like to share your knowledge
